All’anagrafe, Olaf Bender. Al mondo, uno dei più coraggiosi sacerdoti dell’arte digitale fin dalla fine degli anni ‘80. Fondatore assieme a Carsten Nicolai e Frank Bretschneider della leggendaria label Raster-Noton. Grafico, designer, visual artist, ma soprattutto sperimentatore di nuove frontiere sonore. Architetto estremo di algoritmi e software, ha tuttavia una regola assoluta che è umana, molto umana: “Le mie creazioni devono avere un impatto fisico, tutte. Come i visual impressionano la retina, così la musica deve alternativamente crear vertigini o spingere al ballo”.

Born, Olaf Bender for the world, one of the most courageous priests of digital art since the late '80s. Founder  with Carsten Nicolai and Frank Bretschneider of the legendary Raster-Noton label. Graphic designer, visual artist and most of all experimentalist trying out new frontiers of sound. Extreme architect of algorithms and software, he however has an absolute rule that everything must be human, very human, "My creations must have a physical impact, all of them. As the visual impressions on the eye, music has to create dizziness or push us to dance."
