Per la strade di Bologna magari è ancora Roger, il dj che fin dall’inizio è stato in prima fila nei più interessanti ed estremi eventi techno che abbiano percorso l’ultimo decennio del capoluogo felsineo (e non solo). Ma in generale Fabrizio Maurizi è, molto semplicemente, uno di quei nomi sempre più sulla bocca di tutti, con la m_nus di sua maestà Richie Hawtin pronta a richiedergli tracce e a farlo entrare nel proprio catalogo. Onore enorme. Che non arriva tuttavia a caso, vista la rara maestria di Fabrizio nel trattare il lato più scuro, emotivo e funk della techno minimale.

For the streets of Bologna he might still be called Roger, this DJ from the very beginning has been at the forefront in the most interesting and extreme techno events that have traveled the last decade of the Bologna. But in general, Fabrizio Maurizi is, quite simply, one of those names always on everyone's lips, with M_nus,  Richie Hawtin's label ready to ask him for tracks and to bring him into its calatalogue. A huge honour. But that does not come by chance, given the rare mastery of Fabrizio in dealing with the darker side of emotional and minimal techno funk.
