"INTO THE WOOD"

The ENIAC project was started in 1998 like a Piemonte Share Festival production in a complex set-up that lets the space within it be its centre and foundation, to realize and develop electronic sounds like eco del reale. Into The Wood is an electro acoustic performance using wood as their musical font; it’s a material as live as the planet itself and for this reason the project is in never-ending movement: the project contemplates different ecosystems and evolves based on its context, symbolically adapting to its host. It is the sound of the forest, where the sound is elaborated in real-time using objects, wooden instruments (with the aid of a microphone and digital elaboration) and environment recordings.
