"LITTLE PILL BLUES"

Francesca Fini, digital artist, will be telling us in three acts a story about the dark origins of Power, playing with lovely pieces of coloured card.
The performance will be based on technology from the interactive design and mapping video. All the sounds are done live; the objects displayed on a webcam will counteract, framing the white underbelly  of a rabbit. Each colour is associated to a particular sound that will emit and pulse out of the synthesizer depending on the framing movement.  The colours, once “activated”, will set off animated graphics  that will be projected on a white mask, the protagonist of the scene. 
The four primary colours will be associated by a group of musical instruments; yellow will be played by frenzied off-key harps, deep and passionate piano notes for red, for blue the metaphysics of crystal bells, hissing and humming of the forest undergrowth for the colour green, and for black? Deadly and unsettling,  silencing the webcam.
