"ROBOID"

Lorenzo Ghelardini is a self-taught and eclectic author, with a love for citations and the most various techniques, from painting to comics, from photography to stencil, and also dabbling in installations and self-produced fanzines and art books.
For roBOt04 Lorenzo will be presenting a collective intervention. There will be 2000 masks in stiff card that reproduce the robot’s head for festival participants. Inside the ‘work zone’ (‘Zona lavoro’), a purposely set-up low-fi play-recreational corner especially for visitors to  personalize and decorate their own masks however they like, giving a unique identity to the standardized robot. Through forced roles, thanks to Ghelardini’s ironically provoked game of ‘state’, the spectator will become the author of the cultural moment in which they themselves are the protagonist.
