Ennio Bertrand

"WORD"

Ennio Bertrand lives and works in Turin, working with images and digital technology.
He is a member of the Ars Tecnica association which was founded in 1988, Paris by “La Cité des sciences et de l'industrie, La Villette" . He also co-founded Arslab, “Arte Scienza e Nuovi Media”,Torino in 1996.
Word is a sonorous interactive installation composed by poetries of Luca Artioli, R.D. Laing and of storys spied in our everyday. The words are recited sentences by sentences from the voices of the computer at every breath that the visitor breathes in the mouth of eight masks. The installation is performed by using Theremino, a new system for interaction management of sounds and digital content already devised by the artist.
