Acid Arab FR
Acid Arab

Mixing the analog tools of techno and house with the melodies and vocals of the Arab world remains the mission guiding every production and DJ set. The result is an extraordinary display of brotherhood between peoples and cultures. On this occasion, they present the single “Yaktın Beni”, created in collaboration with Turkish pop star EDIS (TR): a passage within a hypnotic flow that, for those who were there before, will pick up exactly where it left off; for newcomers, it will be an introduction to their sonic realm. In both cases, it is a place of the soul you will never want to leave.

Ale Hop & Titi Bakorta (PE) (CD)
Ale Hop & Titi Bakorta

Mapambazuko is the result of a collaboration between Peruvian sound artist Ale Hop (Alejandra Cárdenas) and Congolese guitarist Titi Bakorta. It is a meeting of layered sounds and guitar-driven flights, of synths that are at once glacial and carnal, and of explorations that move freely between soukous (African rumba), psychedelia, folk, and the avant-garde. Two distinct personalities, shaped by different experiences, geographic origins, and musical and personal paths, converge in a shared space that reaches its fullest expression in the live dimension: the album’s tracks serve as a starting point, while a communion of minds and visions guides improvisation and spontaneous creation.

Alessandro Cortini IT
Alessandro Cortini

Bolognese by birth and a sound explorer by vocation, Alessandro Cortini is the Renaissance man of the third millennium: musician, composer, producer, and creator of the very instruments he uses – as in “Scuro Chiaro” (2021), made on the “Strega” synth model he built himself. His installation “Nati Infiniti” was presented at Sonar 2022, and its live version debuted at Berlin Atonal in 2023, each a unique piece like an artwork with no possibility of replication – to this day, no two are alike. An exclusive experience to be shared – the finest oxymoron imaginable.

Apparat DJ DE
Apparat DJ

Apparat needs no introduction; his name alone is enough to conjure his universe, much like Fellini or Prince in other eras. And yet, he continues to elude any categorization, always several steps ahead of what one might expect to find in his shows, in his many collaborations, on record, or behind the decks. Having long since proven his mastery in shaping the beat, he now declares himself “more interested in drawing sounds,” consequently venturing into ambient territories. For his second and final Italian appearance in 2025, ethereal soundscapes are to be expected.

Chiara Zaccaria IT
Chiara Zaccaria

Born in Turin and based in Bologna, classically trained harpist Chiara Zaccaria expanded her artistic scope through her encounter with electronic music. Alongside live performances and collaborations with Bologna-based musicians, she creates soundtracks for video art projects – predominantly ambient soundscapes that punctuate works centered on a recurring theme: the violence of progress overcome by the resilience of nature. Controluce comes to life in an exclusive setting, where the sound and part of the accompanying visuals materialize in real time.

DJ Haram US/TR
DJ Haram

You can’t accuse DJ Haram of oversaturating the market: since 2019, she has released just two self-produced EPs under her own name, the Grace EP and now her full-length debut Beside Myself – both on Hyperdub, still the go-to label for the heaviest bass, fractured rhythms, and the sound of life flowing through the asphalt of the world’s outskirts, where the most powerful epiphanies continue to emerge. One half of 700 Bliss – the hip hop/noise project shared with Moor Mother – she delivers solo DJ sets that are a head-spinning blend of analog gear, electro-folk influences from her Turkish roots, and gritty street rap. For ROBOT, an unforgettable A/V live show is on the horizon.

Ela Minus CO/US
Ela Minus

Born Gabriela Jimeno Caldas in 1990, she started out as a punk/hardcore drummer in her early teens and went on to earn a double degree at Berklee College of Music (jazz drums, electronics). From the very beginning, she chose a live-performance approach – even when electronic music became her focus – no DJ sets, only machines driven by her touch. Her debut Acts of Rebellion (2020) was a beacon in the night during the pandemic nightmare; in the recent DÍA, she pushes the emotional pedal even further, laying bare her soul with brutal honesty and a disarming lack of filters. An introspective journey that becomes collective, a probe that delves into each listener’s consciousness, starting from the stage – her natural habitat.

Félicia Atkinson FR
Félicia Atkinson

For Félicia Atkinson, voices inhabit elements and contexts that do not “speak” in the conventional sense: landscapes, images, books, memories, ideas. The aim of her art is to capture these parallel voices and layer them over her own, weaving together collages of field recordings, MIDI instruments, and fragments of other languages in constant dialogue with the work of visual artists, filmmakers, and novelists. Her performances tell stories that alternately stretch and fold space and time, where being carried away by the dreams of other lives and other eras is no longer optional.

Hatis Noit JP
Hatis Noit

Hatis Noit’s extraordinary vocality is proof of what a remarkable instrument the human voice can be. Entirely self-taught, her influences range from Japanese classical music to Gregorian chant to the sounds of blossoming nature. Her explorations, reaching toward the very essence of our universe, have earned her the admiration of David Lynch (who invited her to MIF 19), superstar producer Rick Rubin (featured in the miniseries Shangri-La, filmed at his recording studio), and everyone who has seen her perform live. After a few years away from the stage, she returns to San Filippo Neri to present new works.

Lino Capra Vaccina & Mai Mai Mai IT
Lino Capra Vaccina & Mai Mai Mai

“Living legend” is a term that truly applies to only a few people – Lino Capra Vaccina is one of them. Co-founder of Aktuala and Telaio Magnetico during the years when Italy was setting the rules for the rest of the Western world, he is a multi-instrumentalist and composer of rare versatility, still exploring the analog synth to this day. Together with Mai Mai Mai, in a collaboration born from elective affinities and carried forward with the mission of uniting tradition and innovation, past and present, in a constant dialogue that transcends genres and generations, intertwining minimalism, avant-garde, and mysticism.

Lorenzo Senni presents Canone Infinito Xtended IT
Lorenzo Senni presents Canone Infinito Xtended

Canone Infinito Xtended is the expanded version of the track featured on Scacco Matto, one of the most evocative moments in a discography that is itself a series of wide-open portals to other dimensions. From the original five minutes, it stretches to forty in the newly released EP, reinforcing the bond with Warp Records (together since 2016). On stage, it becomes the starting point for a series of variations – each a standalone chapter in a virtually endless narrative, living matter constantly transfigured and shaped in real time. Italian premiere for the opening concert at Pop Up Cinema Medica Palace 4K.

Rainy Miller presents Joseph, What Have You Done? UK
Rainy Miller presents Joseph, What Have You Done?

Rapper, producer, and half of the post-drone project GRIEND, since 2020 Rainy Miller has headed the Fixed Abode label, a platform for local talents from a scene that remains off the beaten path. Hailing from Preston, the county seat of Lancashire, his peripheral location (in the mind as much as on the map) profoundly shapes his artistic trajectory – moving between grime, drill, ambient, industrial, club electronics, and extended streams of consciousness where avant-hip hop becomes a series of open-hearted confessions, blended into a mix that resembles nothing and no one else.

Retro Cassetta DZ
Retro Cassetta

He began as an acrobat in circuses but soon decided to channel his tightrope-walking skills into DJing – and that’s where things get interesting. Through a series of travels across Morocco, Algeria, and Libya, scouring every market stall, he amassed a collection of over twenty thousand units in the format that also gave him his stage name. “Retro Cassetta” in name and in fact: his sets are a dizzying whirlwind of tapes covering virtually every existing genre in North African music, and with each cassette, the distance between his world and “our” Italo Disco gets shorter.

Rival Consoles UK
Rival Consoles

On his ninth album, Rival Consoles still manages to move us like at the very first encounter. A longer pause than usual to seek new inspiration, but once the spark ignites, the mechanism unlocks and the intensity returns stronger than before. Landscape from Memory is a return to places of the mind and soul, both familiar and new at the same time, with the pedal of emotion pressed always to the maximum imaginable—more feeling, more soul, more nostalgia, more vision of the future. As always, electronic music impossible to ignore, this time even harder to forget.

Sarah Davachi’s Double Reeds (solo organ with film by Dicky Bahto) CAN
Sarah Davachi’s Double Reeds (solo organ with film by Dicky Bahto)

For Sarah Davachi, Canadian composer and performer in the minimalist/electroacoustic field, the organ is the instrument of choice to reach ascension; her compositions are long meditations built on layers of sound that expand the concept of space and perfectly accompany the grainy texture of Dicky Bahto’s film footage—psychic explorations akin to the great experimental cinema of giants like Stan Brakhage and Chris Marker. Together, they present Double Reeds, a solo organ performance in dialogue with timeless analog images: a soulful place where it will be sweet to get lost.

Zoë Mc Pherson & Alessandra Leone FR/IE
Zoë Mc Pherson & Alessandra Leone

The collaboration between Zoë Mc Pherson, a Franco-Irish performer, sound designer, and DJ, and visual artist Alessandra Leone (a résumé spanning major brands to special effects in cinema, theater productions to documentaries) is a meeting of top talents. Born from a summer artist residency, the audio/video live performance to be premiered at DumBO represents the next level in a journey of exploration through soundscapes, rhythmic experiments, and techno bursts, all intertwined with images that erase any possible distance between rave and cinema screen.
