Marina Herlop
Marina Herlop’s path has been one of ceaseless transformation. With years of classical training behind her, she has moved from early records built essentially around piano and voice, with only sparse electronic elements, towards a digital transfiguration that radically reshaped her art into a hybrid of ambient, folk, skewed beats and vocal experimentation that defies description. The live experience is essential to enter her increasingly singular universe through its latest evolution, Dja Dja: a world extending ever further beyond the boundaries of contemporary music, where the human and post-human merge until they become impossible to tell apart.
