Suz & Giuseppe Franchellucci

A map of the night: Suz — a songwriter whose vision moves freely between trip-hop, dark pop, dub and experimental songwriting — meets electro-acoustic cellist Franchellucci, from Jonny Greenwood to Serj Tankian by way of contemporary composition and research music. ‘Tremulous Things’ evokes what keeps resonating in memory once an experience is over: words, relationships, fears and desires beneath the surface. Eight tracks that follow the Carte de la Lune drawn by Cassini in 1679 and reproduced on the cover: hidden within the precision of the scientific survey are a face and a heart, and the moon remains something that can be observed without ever becoming fully accessible.
