Matteo Vallicelli

An Italian musician and producer, and drummer for bands such as The Soft Moon and Cold Cave, Matteo Vallicelli‘s solo work explores electronic soundscapes heavily influenced by early library music, film soundtracks from the ’80s, and Italo disco. He played on the main stages of the alternative and electronic scene, collaborated with artists such as Trentemøller and Alessandro Cortini and was the first Italian artist to release music for the New York label Captured Tracks. Alongside his solo work, he produces music for other artists, for film and video.
