Open Electronic Music Workshop with Hardware Gear & Dato Duo + Guided Tour
Curated by Anffas Bologna APS and Link Aut
Anffas Bologna APS, in collaboration with Link 2.0, has been organizing Link Aut since 2023: an electronic music composition workshop open to young people with disabilities. Since 2024, Link Aut has participated in the ROBOT festival, where it promotes its products and advances the dialogue on accessibility and barrier removal within cultural and musical contexts. At ROBOT 2025, Link Aut presents an interactive workshop open to the public, where participants can try out electronic musical instruments and try their hand at creating sounds and rhythms, coordinated by the Link Academy staff and the protagonists of Link Aut.
In addition to drum machines, samplers, and synthesizers, the Dato Duo will be available: a simple, intuitive instrument that enables the creation of musical patterns through active two-person collaboration.
During the activities, Link Aut participants will be present to lead the workshop sessions and engage with the public on topics such as accessibility, coexistence of differences, and neurodivergence.
Additionally, on October 9, a tour of the festival spaces at DumBO will take place for seven neurodivergent participants, led by two facilitators.

Link Academy
Link Academy is a bottom-up production project for emerging musical talent in the Bologna area, created by the APS Link 2.0. The project’s activities focus on organizing musical events, operating a 24/7 web radio, and delivering workshops, training courses, and social initiatives for aspiring musicians. Link Academy believes in the expressive power of art as a vehicle for spreading culture, well-being, and social values. Thanks to the support of volunteers, a community has grown to enhance and broaden cultural opportunities across the region.
