MACE
Producer, DJ, explorer, beatmaker, psychonaut. Tracing the career of Simone Benussi, known professionally as MACE, is like condensing multiple lifetimes into one -from his extensive list of collaborations spanning hip-hop to Italian pop, through funk, house, trap, electro, bass music, and psychedelia, to exploring sounds and melodies from every corner of the world. These seemingly irreconcilable threads find new meaning in his DJ sets, each one a mapping of the countries he has traversed, the encounters he has made, and the endless nights spent at the mixing board in the studio or on stage.
