ÜRE

URË (‘bridge’ in Albanian) is a participatory installation and a free-form electroacoustic performance. The goal: to build, through sound, a deep bond between the audience (and the performers). Through interaction with objects that convey words -radios, typewriters- and the voice itself, it attempts to give body to a universal language of forms. Born from connection, it evolves through choice, or the absence of it: following the instructions or ignoring them, asking for help, or proceeding alone. A new Tower of Babel of sonic liberation and the surrender of words.
